It started from a simple frustration: reading in English often means stopping too often to check words, phrases, or whole sentences. Booklern makes this easier with parallel texts, where English sentences are shown together with a translation in the reader’s native language.
The app supports English learning through books with sentence-by-sentence translation, natural audio, and instant word help. All of this is built into a simple, minimalist reader that keeps the focus on the book, not on exercises, flashcards, or cluttered tools.
Public-domain classics are included, and readers can also add their own books. The service is free during early access, with fair-use limits on AI features.
